Went from one look to another

This started as an attempt at a retro travel-poster style piece, but it quickly felt like it wanted to become something else.

So I turned it into a vintage comic book cover: The Clockwork Safari.

The original scene had too much story and movement for a clean travel poster, but it worked better as a pulp-style adventure cover — jungle, machines, monsters, and a little ridiculous danger.

I used AI assistance to help develop the final layout and comic-cover style, then corrected and refined some of the details. I’m still learning how to build stronger compositions and use these experiments as possible concept art for future Blender projects.
