The robot design was sketched by hand, inspired by vintage household appliances (mixers, radios, and early electronics) to capture that optimistic “future of home living” feel from the era.
I then used AI to help generate a 1950s-style advertisement poster based on the design—mainly to explore how it might have been presented as a product at the time.
I’m really interested in how past design eras imagined the future—and how those ideas can be reinterpreted today.
