Welcome to Retro Robot Studios.
This is where I build robots from the past… that never existed.
I take inspiration from old appliances, industrial design, and retro-futuristic art styles—from the 1920s to the 1970s—and turn them into original robot concepts, dioramas, and (eventually) animation.
Some pieces are hand-sketched. Some are built in Blender. Some are pushed further using AI tools. I don’t claim to do it all by hand—I just use whatever helps bring the idea to life.
This blog is part sketchbook, part experiment, and part long-term project as I work toward creating my own animated worlds.
If you like retro design, strange machines, or the kind of future people used to dream about—you’ll probably feel at home here.
